A few of our favorite things? Lifestyle blogs with an eye for great design,Diptique candles that smell like Paris in spring and gifts that come with a personal touch. So our latest favorite thing is naturally this DIY by Fleur de Sel blogger Lindsay Gehman, who incorporates all of the above into one sweet and easy project.
Inspired by the coveted candles from Diptique, a French brand, Lindsay made homemade candles as favors for her wedding guests, who joined her in France for her destination wedding. We think these homemade candle gift boxes would also make the loveliest dinner party favors or hostess gifts.
The San Francisco blogger used Makr to create simple yet elegant labels for the candles themselves and sweet tags for the gift boxes.
“To achieve the Diptique feeling, I think it’s key to go for a fairly simple label, in an elegant typeface and a neutral color palette,” Lindsay says.
